STANDARD LAMINATED TIMBER
Versowood manufactures various standard-sized laminated timber products, which can be used as such or machined according to requirement. From the wide selection of standard solutions, a cost-effect alternative can be found-for example, even for the structures supporting a building.
In a manner differing from steel structures, laminated timber does not require separate fire protection, because if the surface burns, the carbonized layer produced slows combustion and extends the load capacity of the structures. Standard laminated timber provides a protection level of R30, and with minimal augmentation of edge dimensions it is possible to reach a protection class of R60.
