Plywood cable reels
These light but durable plywood reel flanges are made of birch plywood. Diameter: 300-1500 mm. The barrels are made of sheet metal, plastic, wood or cardboard.
Timber drums
With a diameter of 400-3700 mm, these timber drums are made of high-quality Finnish export-dried sawn timber. The timber drums are delivered either ready-assembled or half-assembled, which brings about substantial savings in freight costs.
Drum management
Versowood Haukipudas also offers its customers drum management. The drums returning from circulation are maintained and stored at the return site or are delivered for re-use. Drums in poor condition are scrapped in an environmentally friendly manner.
The goal of drum management is to improve the efficiency of reel-related functions and ensure that by developing maintenance and repair operations longer usage life, improvement in recyclability and faster warehouse turnover are achieved.
Drum management operations are available at Haukipudas, Riihimäki, Kirkkonummi and at our own subsidiary in Estonia. In addition, there is a return outlet set up in Denmark at our partner's facilities. Each cable company has its own return-related conditions and separately designated return site.
