Versowood opened a new timber and pellet warehouse in Valko Port (Loviisa Finland)
The new timber and pellet warehouse of Versowood was inaugurated on Aug 14, 2007 in Loviisa. The area of the new premises is about 5,000 m2, the value of the investment exceeded one million euros.
In 2006 Versowood shipped about 77,000 cbm timber at the Loviisa harbour. In 2007 the volume had grown up to 125,000 cbm by the end of July already.
The most important destination countries of timber loaded onboard in Valko are in
North-Africa, Central Europe and the Mediterranian area. Versowood's local harbour operator in Valko is Oy R.
