ONE-TO-ONE TRADE

Versowood obtains wood from certificated Finnish forests for the use of the Group's various units. Wood acquisition is one-to-one trade which the Group handles with professional skill while listening to the needs of the forest owner. The wood is collected in a manner which respects nature, and the raw material is utilized as completely as possible.

In wood procurement, the certified management system controlling the origin of wood is used (Annex 4 and 5 of PEFC technical documentation 2004). In domestic wood procurement, Versowood is committed to the criterions of the Forest Certification (FFCS 1002-1).
