ACQUISITION AREAS - PRESERVING THE POWER OF REGENERATION
The task of the Wood Acquisition Division of Versowood Oy is not only to acquire pine and spruce but also to collect and efficiently transport the raw material to the sawmills, while preserving the forest-based power of regeneration and taking the requirements of forestland nature into consideration. Thirty personnel work in the Wood Acquisition Division as well as forty harvesting chains, which obtain a total of 2 400 000 m3 of raw timber annually from the area of South Finland, of which almost 2 000 000 m3 are incorporated for the needs of our own sawmill industry.
